We believe in simplicity. A trait of most technical people is a love of complexity. We strive to go the other way and avoid complexity where possible as complexity is expensive and time consuming.
Most of the systems we build replace boring admins tasks. We don't think these jobs were ever made for humans and strive to banish them from your world.
We don't do BS. We'll be straight with you and give you our honest opinion. We don't do BS work. We don't deal with BS clients. This is a no BS zone.
The work we do isn't always covering the most fascinating subject (generating invoices for example) but still, we want to do work where you say "wow, that's cool" at the end of it.
Above is a picture of Monterey Bay in California. It's a fantastic piece of coast with a quit charming be it touristy town.
Importantly, it's home of many whale species and sea otters!
These cute guys and gals spend their days bobbing around in the water, eating fish and generally looking cute.
Not that we wanted to associated with lazy animals, but, wanted something memorable.
Although sea otters have bugger all to do with software development, the tactic worked! Over and over people say "I like the otter" - the logo seems to memorable!
So that's the story. Maybe the moral should be - don't come to us for marketing advice!
