A security company owner had been nurturing an idea for over a year, meticulously planning features in PowerPoint slides for a very niche event management problem. This was the kind of highly specific problem that only someone with years of industry experience would recognise, but it was absolutely worth solving. The challenge? The owner had never built software before and needed someone who could understand their vision and bring it to life. My LinkedIn outreach message happened to land at exactly the right moment.
The Solution
We connected on LinkedIn, clicked immediately, and got to work. Whilst there were a couple of quirky technical challenges to navigate, the focused scope of the system kept things moving quickly. Working directly with the owner, I delivered a platform that tackled their niche problem head-on, and we managed to go live in just 6 weeks. Since launching, I've been making regular adjustments and adding new features based on real user feedback. More enhancements are already lined up as the product continues to grow and evolve with the business.
