New marketing website and content management system

A new marketing website for a drinks brand, with quirky designs, signature animations and a simple content management system.

The Challenge

A drinks brand I was working for were looking for a brand new marketing website, but they needed to be able to control SEO, images and other content easily, including things like recipes. They also had some very quirky designs they had come up with and wanted to layer on a lot of animation on scroll to really bring the storytelling for the product to life.

The Solution

I built a simple content management system that did exactly what they needed. It didn't do too much or go overkill, but it gave the site administrators the controls they needed to stay on top of SEO and update basic parts of the site themselves.

On the animation side, I paid particular attention to a couple of key signature animations on the homepage load that added a real wow factor. Throughout the rest of the site, I used slightly more subtle animations and hover effects, including quite a few Easter eggs for users to find.
